4 Free Online Sites to Promote Your Yard Sale
Yard sale time is in full swing! Do you have stuff to sell? Here are 4 free sites where you can list your yard sale items for free:
Facebook - There are now town-specific yard sale pages popping up all over Facebook. Log in and search on "[town] yard sale" or "[town] garage" sale. Each page has its own rules, so read carefully as to how to post your listings.
Craigslist - I love how craigslist organizes its sites geographically. Select the area that is closest to where you will hold your sale, then under the for sale category, select garage and moving sales. You can post your yard sale information, or just list individual items for sale.
Yardsales.net - This site makes it extremely easy to post your yard sale event. You are allowed 50 photos on this site. Follow their 4-step process, and you're done! There is also an option to upgrade to a paid account for more exposure.
Gsalr.com - This site is similar to Yardsales.net. Simply post your listing, and upgrade if you want more exposure.
With these four sites, and heavy use of signs in your neighborhood,
you will gain great exposure to your sale. Happy selling!
