Thankful for Chocolate!

Thankful for Chocolate!

Many folks are writing inspiring and sometimes somber articles about the things they are thankful for this season. I will do that too, but right now I am oh-so-sincerely thankful for chocolate!

It is a small tradition. Every Thanksgiving, I am the bringer of fudge (and wine). I would happily provide the cranberries - for which I have a half-dozen recipes - or a crowd-sized salad. But other family members have their favorites of those items. No one else makes fudge, so I am the designated chocolatier.

This year I will make two batches:  One a plain but rich, dark chocolate, and the other milk chocolate with nuts. I usually add walnuts but am thinking I may toast pecans this time.

Who wants to lick the spoon of warm, gooey fudge?

Kathryn- you're preaching to the choir on this one.  I love dark chocolate and just today was in the Godiva store.  That fudge looks good!!!

Kathryn Acciari I will bet if you showed up for any of these 'get-togethers' with anything other than your chocolate, they might ask you to leave!
