Spring Renewal: It's Time for Some New Challenges

Spring Renewal:  It's Time for Some New Challenges

 spring renewal

With the clock having sprung ahead recently, I am happy to find myself emerging from the cave of winter.  The sun appears earlier in the morning, the temperature is on an upswing, and the 8 ft. mounds of snow have all but disappeared.

All of these hints of spring make me restless for change, so for my spring renewal 2011 I am looking at new ways to build my business.  Last year was a good year, and I want to expand upon that.  The main obstacle that I face is that I'm just not yet sure exactly what new challenges I want to take on.  The desire is there, and the motivation is there, now I just need to figure out what the what will be.  It has to be something new for me, a project not yet attempted.

Perhaps it is time to target a particular demographic of buyers or sellers.  Perhaps it is time for more intense training, such as getting another designation.  Perhaps I will team up with some amazing people and develop some innovative concepts.  Perhaps a great new idea will pop into my head tomorrow morning.

The answer has not yet shown itself, but I do believe it is out there and that I will find it.  Past experience has been such that I have the confidence to know that I'll pick up something interesting on my radar.  Eyes and ears are wide open, absorbing information and testing ideas.

Spring renewal for me is about trying something different, taking on some risk, and being energized by potential.

Kathryn you said it all right here....you'll find your risk soon!

Kathryn, Spring is a great time to discover new challenges and take them on.  I'm certain that you will soon discover the challenges and take them on in an energized way.

Kathryn, so many have talked about spring being the time for change, not the new year. I think that I agree with this. Looking at my business, my personal life, boy I can stand some change!

Anna:  That's exactly it.  You should have written this blog post  for me.  :-)

Gary:  Thank you.  I love searching out new opportunities.

Joan:  A little extra sun, a little extra warmth - time to get out and explore.

Andrea:  LOL - New Year's is just too close to other events to feel renewed!

Hi Kathryn - Continued success brings other challenges.  Your business grows and than all of a sudden the tail is wagging the dog.  Then your decisions become more and more difficult.  Hire an assistant, work more hours, cut back, etc.  Good luck.

Spring is the best time for change; you just get a feeling of freshness and newness. I'm sure you will figure out what you want to tackle in the days ahead - maybe while you're reading that mystery during the snow storm tonight :)

Conrad:  Thanks - it's definitely time to forge new paths.  Have any amazing ideas?

Toni:  Yes - perhaps I'll find a "clue"  ha ha!
