Sturbridge Common in the Winter - Sturbridge, MA

Driving around Sturbridge this week, there have been many opportunities for winter photography.  Here are some pictures from around the Sturbridge Town Common.

sturbridge town common

The town common is a central gathering place in Sturbridge.  It played a role as a battle ground in the Revolutionary War, but these days it is used for recreation.

The common is bordered by numerous antique homes that help Sturbridge retain its quaint historical personality.

Very nice photography Kathryn. Unlike a few of my photographs it looks like you actually got out of the car and into the cold.

The pictures are beautiful, Kathryn. Sturbridge was a favorite of mine when we lived up north.

Bob:  I love winter, and the snow this week has been just glorious.

Conrad:  Hard to believe after that mild December we had, huh?  Thanks for your comment.

Toni:  Thank you.  It is a beautiful area.

Karen:  Thanks so much.  We live in a postcard!
