Molly's Ride 2010: 11th Annual Motorcyle Meet for Child Safety
Sunday, June 27, 2010, marks the 11th annual Molly's Ride for Child Safety in Sturbridge, MA. This annual ride, in memory of Molly Bish, kicks off at Hobbs Brook Plaza at 100 Charlton Street/Route 20 at 8 AM.
Molly's Ride for Child Safetyis intended to keep child abduction at the top of the mind of caring members of the community, as well as provide comfort to families who have lost children through an abduction. The ride originated from a group of policemen who were involved in the search for missing teen Molly Bish of Warren, MA, in 2000.
Each year, hundreds of riders participate in this police-escorted charity event. And 100% of the proceeds are donated to projects that support child safety and the prevention of child abduction.
