It is simple, really.  Before you sell a home, you only need to know one thing.  And once you understand this one thing, you will meet with quick success.

It is a basic fundamental aspect of sales, this one thing.  It does not apply to only real estate, but to any product that a seller brings to market.  Understand this basic principle, embrace and prepare for it, and you will be able to move on with your life.

Your neighbor, whose home has been on the market for a year, does not know or understand this one thing.  All of the other sellers in your town who complain about their agents or about "the market" have missed the boat on this one thing

It's understandable.  Real estate agents want to please their clients.  It's easy to push this one thing aside and do things the seller's way instead of the way that will lead to success.

But I know - because of my past successes - that if I keep this one thing at the forefront of my conversations with home sellers, I will be able to advise them on exactly what they must do to sell their home.
