Free Ice Cream Day at Friendly's

Free Ice Cream!

My son came home from school today asking that we go to Friendly's on Saturday.  From noon to 5 PM, the well-known ice cream store is holding its annual Free Ice Cream Day, and the Friendly's in Sturbridge is indeed participating.  Friendly's is offering a free single scoop of ice cream in a cone or dish.  Perfect for an after-baseball or softball treat.

We've never attended this event, so I can not offer any tips on the best times to go, but the weather report looks perfect for an afternoon ice cream break.  Check the Friendly's web site to make sure your local Friendly's is offering this special to your community.

Aw shucks, I just noticed that Kathleen Ann Pacheco-Corbett had also posted this event on this group.  My apologies for the duplication.  Hopefully my post will serve as a reminder - go get your cone!

Don't think we have that type of store here in Arizona -- enjoy !

Bob and Carolin - Friendly's is an institution in Massachusetts.  They serve grilled sandwiches, burgers, appetizers and tons of ice cream sundaes.  If you ever come to MA, I'll treat you!
