Bad Timing for the Patriots to Have a Bad Day

Bad Timing for the Patriots to Have a Bad Day

So it's over for the New England Patriots.  The darlings of the NFL fell short on this most important day in their playing season.

It happens to us all.  We train, we practice, we put in our best efforts, we visualize, and yet those bad days happen.  The cloud falls over us at the wrong time, while the sun shines on our competition.  For most of us, we can get up the next day and start over.  Unfortunately, the Patriots will have to wait until fall to get their re-start.

Having sacrificed money, time, and calories to the Buffalo Bills at the height, and crash, of their early 1990's seasons, I don't get too terribly upset anymore when my favorite team has a bad day.  The timing was way off tonight, though, for the Patriots.  Definitely the wrong day to have a bad day.
